But since this is somehow transient period from LaTeX v.2.09 to a new one, this kind of documents may be useful for those who are making documents every day and night. This is a concise guide for these people. Authors are hoping this may become a help to many users of LaTeX. Since it is originally written in Japanese on A4 paper, one line may be too long to read easily. But it is cumbersome to change the width because many tables and examples are so wide. Pages of the final output may become between 50 and 60 depending on existence of style files. 1) To compile % latex styleuse % makeindex styleuse.idx % latex styleuse % makeindex styleuse.idx % latex styleuse You need three-times compilation to get desired results. In order to make index, you may need a software called "makeindex". This program may be named "makeinde" or "makeindx" in MS-DOS. 2) Compilation has been checked by Big emTeX on a Japanese personal computer. 3) If you need to compile only one file, % edit style-nn : edit the file name before compilation % latex style-nn You may make an index out of those parts compiled. 4) History: Version 1.xx -- 92/10 : Furukawa made an ASCII version of this document and posted on bbs in Tohoku Univ.
