ngBBS - README
--------------

ngBBS (Next Generation BBS) allows you to run your own BBS over the
Internet. The setup is very simple and straight-forward, and the system is
very easy to use. It allows you to have as many system operators (sysop's)
and registered users (handles) as you wish, along with a guest account.
Handles can exchange private messages, be notified when their friends login,
view information about a given handle, see who all is online, change the
color of their prompt, change their password, and (coming soon) interactively
run text-based games and other applications on the server (i.e. tetris,
fortune, et. al.).

For installation instructions, see the included file, INSTALL.

To start ngBBS, simply run ngbbsd.pl. In order to stop or restart ngBBS
properly, you must run ngbbsd.pl with the options --stop or --restart,
respectively.

Check out ngBBS's website frequently for updates, patches, plugins
