Abstract:
This bibliography lists papers on optimal triangulation algorithms and their application to unstructured finite element mesh generation. It was used for the survey "Mesh Generation and Optimal Triangulation", by M. Bern and D. Eppstein, in the book "Computing in Euclidean Geometry", D.-Z. Du and F.K. Hwang, eds., World Scientific, 1992, pp. 23-90.
Keywords:
triangulation, mesh generation, computational geometry, Delaunay triangulation, edge insertion, Steiner triangulation, quadtree, mesh refinement, advancing front, surface interpolation, tetrahedralization
